New lidar successfully in use

Our lidar type windcube v2 is successfully in application since fall 2014. For remote sites without power supply we also offer an self-sufficient power supply with a fuel cell battery system.

LiDAR means a ground-based remote sensing techniques with laser beams invisible to humans. It enables high-precision measurement of the wind profile between 40 m and 200 m above ground level by the use of the Doppler effect. Depending on the location (simple or complex, open areas or forest location), it represents an ideal supplement or even an alternative to the classical met mast, this is consistent with current guidelines (IEC, FGW, IEA). We are happy to advise you for measurements adapted to your goals and needs.
